During your stay in Fuerteventura, you have an excellent opportunity to discover the neighboring island of Lanzarote in just one day, located only 12 km from the port of Corralejo.
Lanzarote is mainly formed by volcanic lava, with the last volcanic eruption occurring in 1824.
 
Lanzarote Excursions - Tour Points
 
Typically, we begin our excursions in Lanzarote with a visit to Timanfaya National Park (known as the Fire Mountains). In the park, aside from traversing a 14 km stretch through solidified volcanic lava, you'll witness three geothermal experiments. At Timanfaya Park, near the restaurant, you'll find one of the few grills in the world that utilizes the natural heat from the Earth's interior to cook dishes.
 
From Timanfaya, we'll head to an exceptional location - the La Geria wine region.
During a stop at one of the vineyards, you'll have the opportunity to taste two wine varieties, Malvasia and Moscatel, produced in this region.
 
Next, on our Lanzarote Coach Tour we'll pass through the historic village of Teguise and make our way to the Valley of a Thousand Palms.
 
In Haria, we'll take a break at a local restaurant for lunch and relaxation. Afterward, we'll visit the Jameos del Agua caves, where local artist Cesar Manrique transformed part of the cave into an outstanding visitor's site.
 
At Jameos del Agua, in a saltwater lake within the heart of the cave, you can admire small, endemic, and blind albino crabs, as well as enjoy a coffee on one of the panoramic terraces.
 
The final stop on Lanzarote Excursions will be at the emerald green lake in the south of the island, known as El Golfo.
You'll also have a few minutes of free time to explore this location.
 
The return ferry departs at 6:00 PM, so we need to be in Playa Blanca no later than 5:40 PM. After a 25-minute ferry crossing, the coach will take you back to your hotel.
